We’ll Be Honest...
We’re Different.

The Story

Okay so it all started when Zehava and Bruria ended up working side-by-side in the marketing department of a savvy nonprofit. Everyday it was the same story, Zehava spiffing through her to-do list, Bruria distracting her with wild ideas and ridiculous pranks. They worked well together.

This is ZEhava

You don’t know anyone like Zehava. She cooks food like no one’s business. She gets stuff done. She gets you up there. Also, her computer is so organized that, to be honest, we’re kind of worried.

This is Bruria

Don’t talk to Bruria before 11am. She might be walking around, but she’s not awake. She was awake at 3am thinking about a cool way to explain that complicated project of yours.

Back to the story. These two were frustrated with how frustrated everyone was. Friends were spending tens of thousands on websites that didn’t work. Investing in ads with no measurement for ROI. Paying for marketing tricks that they did not understand. Publishing content with bad punctuation. And, worst of all, being boring on Instagram.

It was bad.

One day, Zehava was working hard at her desk, compiling a million spreadsheets, when Bruria rolled over her chair and whispered, “We’re gonna quit our jobs soon. The world needs us.”

Then their boss walked in, so Bruria rolled back to her desk and texted Zehava instead.

“It’s ridiculous. We need to make digital marketing more simple, and more effective at the same time. With sensible strategies and brilliant creativity.”

Zehava liked it, but she didn’t want to quit her job. So she shot Bruria a stern look. Then she got another message.

“We’ll create more jobs. We’ll help fellow Haredim put their Talmudic analytics skills to professional use. We’ll be making a better Israel while we’re at it.”

Six responsible months later, two office chairs were empty, and a new digital marketing agency was born. It was named Aleph to Zee, because it was ready to rock everything in digital marketing, from beginning to end.

Today, we have an incredible team of fun-loving experts, who love nothing more than seeing our clients succeed––and the good news is… they get to see that all day, every day.

Bruria Efune, CEO

In one of my earliest childhood memories I’m staring in awe at my father’s Macintosh computer while he designs an educational children’s game. In all the rest of my memories, I’m either exploring a new computer application, or making up a fantastical story in my head. Thinking back, I was probably a strange kid.

But being strange pays off sometimes. I wrote my first lines of html and built my first website at thirteen. Got my first graphic design job at fifteen. Became the editor-in-chief of an international children’s magazine at twenty, and during that time accidentally wrote a book that’s been distributed in hundreds of synagogues around the world.

All along I picked up every book and article that I could find on digital marketing––that beautiful art that pulls every one of my weird hobbies together. Today I have ten years of experience helping businesses and organizations to get their names out in the digital world, and reap the financial benefits.

Meanwhile, I’m loving life in Be’er Sheva with my husband and our spunky kids who are always playing dress up, and running around with their wild imaginations.

Zehava Arky, COO

I had a childhood that enriched my appreciation for change and diversity, as I grew up internationally with my family in places such as Atlanta, The Philippines, Mexico, Los Angeles, Spain and more. I hold a Bachelor’s in Spanish and International Business and a Master’s in International Relations and Conflict Resolution – with a concentration in International and Transnational Security Issues, writing my Master’s thesis on the African refugee issue in Israel.

My professional background includes extensive work in the non-profit sector, including resource development, content writing, and public speaking. I was noted as one of Times of Israel’s Blog: Israel’s Celebrating 70 Extraordinary Women of Israel, the recipient of the 2018 Nefesh B’Nefesh Initiative for Zionist Innovation Award, and the 1st place winner of NBN’s pitch night for entrepreneurs.

I live in Be’er Sheva with my husband and 3 adorable boys and in my free time I lead the BGU English Entrepreneurship network. I enjoy running and cooking, and am thrilled to speak to others about developing their personal financial goals as a hobby of mine.
